Historic Oregon Journal newspaper photographer Al Monner's historic black and white photography of the Idaho in 1935 and 1940, features Sawtooth Mountains photos, Salmon River photos, Snake River photos, the Craters of the Moon National Monument photos, and photographs of the towns of Custer, Clayton, Dickey, Staley, and Sunbeam.  Black and white historic landscape photography of the deserts, rivers, farms, lakes, and ranches of Eastern Oregon by Al Monner around the 1930s and 1940s includes  Snake River photos,  photos of Eastern Washington's  Palouse Falls and canyon, and the people who've lived there. Al Monner began his collection of river photographs in 1928 . Review his river photos year to year: 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932 ,1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, and 1949.

David Jensen photography of Eastern Oregon features photos of it's mountains, farms, ranches, deserts, rivers, lakes, and  and photos pf Northeastern Oregon's Snake River, Lostine River, and Imnaha River. Also see photos of  Wallowa River Valley's brilliant autumn color, red barns photos, and photos ofPrairie Creek. 

On exhibit are photos of Wallowa Lake, a photo of Sacajawea Peak at sunrise, photos of Eagle Cap, and Lakes Basin in the Wallowa Mountains. In addition, see photos of Leslie Gulch and Steens Mountain in Southeastern Oregon.

David Jensen's photos of Oregon rivers includes the Columbia River Gorge,  Snake River,  Lostine River, and the Imnaha River. The photo of the Imnaha River Canyon shows the steep terrain that it shares with nearby Hell's Canyon.
